When did people stop caring for one another...

When did this over sophisticated world become so cold...

 

Like in the Wizard of Oz there are three kind of people...

The "Cowardly Lion" (No Courage), The "Tin Man" ( No Heart ) and the "Scarecrow" (No Brain).

People are afraid to feel, they might get hurt.

people are afraid to get involved because they might have to do something.

people are afraid to stand up for themselves because they might fail.  

FYI Not trying is failing !

 

Anyway you spin it there are a lot of sorry people in this world that would prefer to let others handle life's curve balls,but they sure don't mind soaking up all the sunshine when its all said and done.

 

People are not perfect and that's why we need each other, to help,support, and be there for one another, at least emotionally. 

 

Maybe its me...maybe I care too much. So much that I put everyone else first and in turn I get used, walked all over and lied to. 

 

Though my heart aches for compassion, understanding and warmth, and though I may go to sleep every night alone, often in tears, feeling alone....

I have Courage, I have Heart and I have a Brain !

 

I will remain Positive, Never Give up and Always Believe !
